Home Is…

Shortly before Christmas, I ran across a saying that hit me just right. It was nothing totally profound or anything, but it was something I knew I had to do something with.

The saying was simply, “Home is where my boys are.”

I have a friend with 6 boys. 6 amazing, wonderful boys. And I don’t say that lightly. They are some pretty amazing boys and I’m still holding out hope one of my girls will marry one of these boys. (HAHAHA!)

Anyway, my friend is such a wonderful mom to these future men and I knew I had to do something with this saying, for her, for Christmas. I almost ran to The Wood Connection the next day. It may not have been THE next day, but it was soon after.

I got to work on this project shortly after Thanksgiving and even though I finished it way before Christmas, I still got it to her a day late.

But, she said she loves it and she has plans to put all 6 pictures of her boys next to the sign. I couldn’t have asked for a better thank-you than knowing her future plans with it!
