I’ve been neglecting this blog for awhile…I’ve done quite a bit of digital scrapbooking lately for different projects, but I forget to post about them. I’ll try to work on it.
As for tonight I am realizing I never posted about the Christmas gifts we gave to our siblings this past year….
My little sister hasn’t mastered the art that is digital scrapbooking/crafting/whatever yet, so she asked me to make this for her friends Christmas gift. I obliged cause I’m that AWESOME of a sister and then I got to thinking. (A dangerous pasttime, I know) I decided I could do something a little different.
I decided we would find a song that closely represented our feelings for the certain sibling or something we wanted them to know. This was a challenge, but my dear hubby even helped me out with some of the song choices. What can I say? He loves me.
So, I got to work making the overlay outline. Then I had to type each song and get it to fit. Sometimes that was a challenge. Then we printed it off and I had repainted ‘cheap’ picture frames (Hey, we were talking like 10 frames here – I come from a large family) to match a color in the picture.
I didn’t take step by step pics, but I will share the completed pictures and then a picture of them all in the frames. This gift was much better received than I ever imagined!!!
To see the pictures bigger, you can just click on them and they will open up bigger! 😉
